About The Venue
The Dorothy Rohnert Spreckels Performing Arts Center, owned and operated by the City of Rohnert Park, presents world-class performing arts for residents of Sonoma County and beyond. It also provides a venue for local arts and civic groups, becoming a cultural hub for nearly half a million people across Sonoma, Napa, Marin, and Mendocino counties.
Envisioned in the City’s late-1970s master plan, the Center joined the Sports and Community Centers on the Rohnert Park Community Campus. Completed in 1990, the $10 million facility was funded through a bequest from Fred Rohnert, city and federal funds, annexation fees, PG&E contributions, and community development resources.
